How to find us...
We are located just 10 kilometres from Coonabarabran NSW.
To get there travel along the Baradine Road (White Street) from the town of Coonabarabran and continue for 10km, look for the sign 'Milroy Observatory Next left'.
Turn left into Morrisseys Road, travel no more than 150 metres and you will see a gate with solar lights either side of it. This gate is on the left hand side of the road before the white fence! Entry to the Observatory is through the gate - there is a sign next to it which says Milroy Observatory - the gate may be shut and if so please close it after you.
Follow the sealed road up to the Observatory.
Note: If you miss the gate and get to the big house or the dirt road you have gone too far.
Please note that Milroy has NO visitors centre and is NOT open for public access during the day unless by prior arrangement.
